Privacy

We ask for your child’s first name because it goes in the book. We do not sell it, we do not build a profile from it, and we do not need you to create an account. We are a small operation, not an ad business.

• Your child’s first name, grade, and the choices you make — used to generate the book, and encoded into your download link so it can be rebuilt.
• Your email address — collected by Stripe at checkout, used to send your download link and to reply if you contact us.
• A delivery address — only if you order a printed copy, and only passed to the printer who posts it.

• We do not ask for your child’s surname, birthday, school, or photograph.
• We do not create accounts or store passwords.
• We do not sell or share personal information with anyone for their own purposes.
• We do not run advertising or analytics trackers that follow you around the web.

Because every book is regenerated on demand from your order details, we do not keep a library of finished PDFs. Your order details live in two places: your download link (which is cryptographically signed so it cannot be edited) and your Stripe payment record.

• Stripe — takes the payment. We never see or store your card details.
• Resend — sends the delivery email.
• Vercel — hosts the site.
• Our print partner — receives the book file and your address, only for printed orders.

Questbook is bought by adults, for children. We do not knowingly let children under 13 create accounts or submit information to us directly — there are no accounts at all. The only information about a child we hold is a first name and a grade level, supplied by their parent or guardian.

Email hello@questbook.online and we will tell you exactly what we hold, correct it, or delete it. We do not require a reason and we will not try to talk you out of it.
