Why I built this
My daughter is eight, and I wanted her practicing the old-fashioned way: a pencil and a page. No notifications, no tabs, nothing to swipe away to — just her and the problem in front of her. Research on young children suggests that forming letters by hand helps them learn. But the workbooks we bought were gray photocopies of the same twenty sums — she’d do two pages and quietly stop.
So I built her one where she was the main character. Her name on the cover, a dog called Pippin as her companion in the word problems, reading passages about the things she loves. She asked to do it. Asked. That had never happened with anything involving math.
She’s now on her fifth book. Friends and family started asking for their kids, so I turned it into this. Every book is generated fresh for one child — no two are the same.

Any home printer. Designed for color but perfectly readable in black and white, on regular letter paper — and you can reprint any page unlimited times. Spilled juice is not a crisis.
